The Danish BIG, which designed the Vltava Philharmonic, has won the prestigious MIPIM Awards 2023

The Danish architectural studio Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) has been awarded the prestigious MIPIM Awards 2023 for the Sluishuis project. Together with Barcode Architects, BIG received the 1^st prize in the Best Residential Project category.

Sluishuis is located in Amsterdam and offers a unique combination of housing and a harbor, creating a new lively and progressive urban space in this part of the city. The project consists of a total of 442 apartments and is designed to minimize its carbon footprint while being as energy-efficient as possible.

MIPIM is an international real estate trade fair held annually in Cannes, France. At this fair, the world's leading real estate players gather to present their latest projects and trends in this field. The MIPIM Awards are also part of the event, and they honor the most outstanding projects in various categories.
