City of Prague has started a dialogue with the Ministry of Culture about the future functioning and operation of the Vltava Philharmonic Hall
"The Vltava Philharmonic Hall will become a key cultural institution of nationwide and European significance. We are therefore negotiating with the state about its financing and operation," said Deputy Mayor Petr Hlaváček.
"The Vltava Philharmonic Hall is an amazing opportunity to take Prague's culture to a whole new level. Prague needs a world-class architecture, and this will be the building we will give to future generations. I am therefore glad that there is an agreement between the capital city and the Ministry of Culture. Thanks to this, we are a step closer to the new architectural landmark of Prague," said Deputy Mayor Jiří Pospíšil.
"The Vltava Philharmonic Hall project represents a national and international matter, and the state is very interested in the creation of this building," said Minister of Culture Martin Baxa.
