Saturday's Eve Quartet concert started the collaboration between the Vltava Philharmonic Hall project and the Metronome Prague Festival

As part of the Metronome Prague 2023, The Concert for the Vltava Philharmonic Hall was performed on Saturday, June 24, 2023. It has started a planned long-term collaboration between the festival and the project of the Vltava Philharmonic Hall, a future cultural center of the Czech Republic. Musicians of Eve Quartet are also members of the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK, performed at the concert. Prague FOK, one of the three future residents of the Vltava Philharmonic.

 

From classical to rock and pop. The concert for the Vltava Philharmonic Hall presented a cross-section of musical genres. Visualizations of the Vltava Philharmonic Hall were projected during the concert, and a model of the building was displayed in the area for the entire duration of the festival. 

 

The concert was attended by the Mayor of Prague Bohuslav Svoboda, Deputy Mayors Petr Hlaváček and Jiří Pospíšil and Mayor of Prague 7 Jan Čižinský. All representatives opened together with the director of the festival David Gaydečka the concert with a speech, expressing their support for the Vltava Philharmonic Hall.
